Our Flag Must Remain Flying, at All Costs!

I just watched Dinesh D'Souza's film, "Hillary and the Secret History of the Democratic Party."  It has left me thinking about holding up the flag as in the story of the lyrics of how the "Star Spangled Banner" was written.  The short clip of that is this huge flag was flying on the wall of Fort McHenry facing an ocean full of English ships firing upon the patriots and the flag.  The English said if the flag was still flying the next morning, they would go.  During the night, bombs flew,  guns roared, men were killed, but in the morning light, in all its glory, was the "Star Spangled Banner," that huge flag proving the patriots were free.

The reason the flag was still flying the next morning at Fort McHenry was that patriots were holding it up there.  The pole had been damaged by the bombing during the night, but to keep it flying, to maintain their freedom, to protect their new country, patriots would sacrifice their lives to hold that flag for all to see.  As each man died, there was another ready to take his place.  That's where we are today.  We are in process of allowing our country to be taken over, but from the inside.

Our flag is being fired upon, by those that proclaim to be American and who say they love this country, but who want to change everything good about it.  We have fought through waves of this battle for our freedom and the rights given us as we  live in this country that our forefathers fought so bravely and so hard to keep.  We have been known by different names-Patriots, Conservatives, Republicans, Tea Parties, and many more, but we have grown into a massive force to be reckoned with as we fight to protect our Constitution, our God-given rights, and our children's future.

I am voting for Trump because I know who Hillary Clinton is and what she wants to do with my country. Even though Trump is not very eloquent, sometimes rude and obnoxious, remember that he has not been groomed to be a politician.  He has run giant companies and not had to look up to anyone.  His ego proves that.  However, he is our best hope.  He has great ideas and I truly believe his heart is in the right place to really want to make this country great again.  He has presented a list of qualified conservative suggestions as his picks for the Supreme Court and that is a very big part of this election.  He has presented us with a Contract with the American Voters that I hope is genuine.

You can vote for your choice of candidates and try to convince yourself you are voting the right way, but whichever way you choose, ask yourself if your children can live with your choice.  What will our country look like in 4 years or 8 years or even 30 years?  Look what has happened in the last almost 8 years under the Obama regime? And don't say, "It can't get any worse" because it can get much worse.

When you go vote in this Presidential election, remember the good inside of you and each other.  This is not about racism, or sexism or any of those isms that keep popping up to distract and divide us.  This election is about saving our country, our Constitution and freedom that we celebrate in this country of assimilation, not the division brought on by diversity.  We must choose to be Americans FIRST, and to come together because we love the United States of America and her "Star Spangles Banner."
